Street Sighting

Alright, it is back to business.
I am finally adjusting to New York City life.
And with that, I have developed a passion for street sighting.
There is so much to see in New York from street signs to street art.
It can get addicting.

Here are some of my favorite finds so far.

Enjoy

Back to Buisness

Hello Blogging World!

I am finally back after a world-wind month of events. From graduation to graduation parties to chaperoning my brother at his tennis tournaments, I feel like summer is just starting for me!

Anyway, right now, I am currently packing for NYC. I am trying to get organized before I start college at NYU. However, let's see how that goes. I always do so much when I am in New York that I forget the reason why I came.

More to come soon.

Senior Pictures to Indie Madness

This weekend, my friend and I ran around Arizona taking my senior pictures. My mom kept on asking about them since I am already 3 months late. So, we had to rush and get them done to end any further petitions.

Anyway, things started out fine, but knowing the two of us, we had no idea what senior pictures meant.
Thus, we started out with the basic, cheesy photos and then ended with more editorial/indie madness...hahaha so typical!

Check it out and see the progression.

At first, we are traditional...

Then, things get a little out of hand!

Jeffrey Campbell

Shoes. I love shoes. I mean, who doesn't love shoes?

However, finding nice, comfortable shoes without spending thousands of dollars is not an easy thing to do.

Until...I discovered Jeffrey Campbell.

I have already bought three different pairs of his shoes and I cannot live without them.

First pair...

Second pair...

Third pair...

I wear these heels all day and every day. And, most importantly, I did not break the bank when I got them.
Here are some other Jeffrey Campbell shoes I hope to own soon.

All I can say is that I am Jeffrey Campbell hooked!

P.S. Since I am talking about shoes, I have to add this video to my post.

Going 90s Grunge with Overalls

Who would of ever expected this trend to come back in vogue?
Or that I would like it?

Not I!

However, overalls are back in full force.

With spring just around the corner, I am starting to put away my heavy coats and long sleeved shirts to open up space in my closet for frilly dresses, high waisted shorts, and OVERALLS!

I truly believe that the 90s and the "Kate Moss" times are resurfacing with only a few modern tweaks.

What do you think? A good or bad trend?

Are you planning on wearing overalls this spring and summer?

Music Update

One of my friends recently introduced me to Calle 13, and I immediately fell in love with this group.

I am a big fan of Spanish music, especially reggaeton. However, since Calle 13 is noted for its eclectic musical style, often using unconventional instrumentation in its music, the group is not exactly apart of the reggaeton genre.

Calle 13 is great to dance or work out to!

Enjoy!
